           Database Forensics is the study of databases and their metadata including the contents, log files and in-RAM data investigation.

It is the process of uncovering and interpreting electronic data so as to preserve any evidence in its most original form. Actually the technological devices are going through a transition from a relatively obscure tradecraft to a scientific field that needs to be continuously held to higher standards.
